Ignis called, and Kebak raised her head. The pup licked at her nose, her small ears swiveling forward and her feet settling down under her.

She shook her head and gnashed her teeth, just a little. Just enough, really, to feel confident as she stepped forward on big paws, not noticing as she bumped her hip into the den wall on the way out.

The dark-toned pup glanced at her father, and then her tail wagged, three times. Wade was already starting a scene, over there, and his rock looked good, so Kebak toddled over before fixing her brother with a stare. "... does it taste good?" It had to, right?
