Cricket wasn't in her best form. She had a fresh pink scar that ran across the top of her skull and the burned flesh on her rear leg still pulled in funny ways, but she wasn't going to miss out on a pack hunt just because she had taken a few knocks. She rolled into the gathering with her usual bravado, happy to see that both Ghoul and Medusa were there (at least she wouldn't have to worry too much with them looking after her).

Her smile only briefly faltered when Ghoul mentioned what their prey was. Gosh even the pup was already almost bigger than she was. She wished she had a big net like the donkey lady so she could tie one end around a tree and pull on the other to trip the big thing over rather than getting caught up under those looooong legs, but this wasn't her hunt and she'd just have to make do and hope she didn't get trampled to death.
