She let any remaining tension bleed away from her posture. Enjoying being in the moment, and not letting worries like what was to come enter her mind. All she cared about was the here and now. Crux, and being so close to him. She cou;dn’t even let the worry of his scent brushing into her coat worry her. Not now. That was a problem for future her.

She did have to stifle a giggle as she saw and felt his head drift down, and then jerk up again. She reached up to cup a paw to the side of his head. Using it to gently guide his head down. “Lie with me for a little bit. Crux. Your family will probably come soon, but until then…” until then, she would selfishly steal what time she could with him.
