A Gentleman's Duel

Redrum’s smack hit true to the other boy’s head, sending him rolling for a moment – which inwardly freaked the vermillion boy out because he feared having used too much strength; but it was easy to see that Cadaver had done it purposefully, more or less. Locking gazes they each held different emotions within, Cadaver’s was of ferocity, while Redrum’s was of cautious calculation.

A gleam that… felt off appeared in the other pup’s eyes, and he came back at Red with much more force. The playfulness seemed nonexistent, and the crimson boy was hard pressed to keep up with the smaller Cadaver’s speedy movements. Behind him, a sharp bite to his hind, which had Redrum seething. Something he only did with his troublesome brother - Sawbone. He reacted quickly, kicking out a back leg as he spun again to face the boy with mismatched eyes.
