Mother, are you there?

Kitsune was very much worried about her mother, she knew the older wolf was shaken from her vision and experience. Seeing her hand over the pack to an Uncle Kitsune did not know very well, and withdraw left Kitsune feeling like her very world was shaken.

There were only a few times in her life where she was overcome with the desire to crawl into her mothers lap and be told that everything was going to be okay - but this was one of those times. She knew she couldn’t put too much on her mother, however. But surely, surely her mother would see her, and talk to her. Would tell her that everything would be okay.
