Is That... What IS That?

Rhazien heard the snarling before the howl rang out- a request from his dear, sweet Kaino. The combination was enough to send him rushing through the valley, racing to the scene of the girl facing off with two, massive felines. He’d never seen creatures like this before- only heard of them in folktales. They were the size of tigers, perhaps even a little bigger. But what was odd about them, was the saber fangs that poked out from their top lips. Like Sephiran and Apollyon. Undeniably, they were aggressive creatures- serving as a threat to their group, which was likely why Kaino was fighting them off.

He irrupted from the treeline, just as Kaino was engaging with the larger cat of the two. The second started to encircle them- looking for the opportunity to attack Kaino, and rip her away from its accomplice. That’s where Rhazien inserted himself. Leaping into the fray, intercepting the feline, just as it tried to leap at Kaino. Slamming himself into it and releasing a snarl at impact, he tumbled with the beast until he ended up on top of it.
