Following their night in the Kumai Delta, Azoula had Delaeni on the move again. Having crossed back into the bay and come out on the other side, they were presented with a rather large clearing- a cliffside meadow, it appeared to be. An array of flowers sprouted up from soft grasses, creating a multicolored hue across a field of green. And, when the oceanside wind started to pick up, the grass began to move in an alluring way- creating an optical effect, as if the entire cliff itself was swaying in the breeze. Feeling the grass at her paws was a nice contrast to the grainy sand of the beach below. And she could still smell the ocean’s salty tinge in the air, and hear the loud, screeching vocalizations of the seagulls in the sky.

“Laney, go pick some flowers for my fur.” Azoula commanded, shifting her eyes to the girl. “Make sure they are beautiful- like myself.” Did she need the flowers? No. But, did she want to watch Laney forage through the meadow with the backdrop of a springtime sunset behind her? Absolutely.
