He fought back, something that she could appreciate. And instead of backing off to her larger height, he instead tried to keep them in close quarters. Brida snarled as they collided, her teeth missing the intended mark and grazing his cheek instead. She pulled her head back, readjusting her stance as she swung her head toward his jaws, seeking to headbutt his face at the cost of lacerations all in the effort to potentially force his jaws shut or throw his head back. His paw did make contact with hers, and instead of lifting the one he struck, she used the opportunity to raise her other one and aimed a heavy blow toward his shoulder. Hopefully, that'd knock him sideways and into the dirt!
