This was it! His first raid had finally arrived. The young viking met the challenge with vigour and anticipation. Hard conditions were his bread and butter, and the cool wind and pelting rain were almost welcome against his pale coat. Which was near feverish with excitement as they arrived at the borders of his Heidinn’s chosen pack.

He crossed the border without hesitation, raising his head to catch whatever scents he could past the elements. The shadowy darkness of the pack gave away little of its secrets. But already he was searching, seeking an opponent. He would prove himself today, proving his right to Vidarr’s pack by right of might. He was a pup no longer.
