The boy snickered when she asked how saving him made her look bad and he shrugged, "Doesn' take much ter make mum mad at the moment, I certainly never thought she was reasonable." It was a joke, and he was clueless. It was said in a very parents am I right? tone and was quickly wiped from his mind when it looked like she might be close to giving in.

He slid on loose stones as he approached the edge and ended up on his stomach, front limbs dangling over as he joined her to look down. It was definitely dead... right? And all he had to do was share with one person and not all of his siblings?!?! He nodded his agreement. "C'mon, lets loot that body!" His butt wiggled as he shimmied back to stand, ignoring the pounding of his heart in his chest. No need to panic, nothing bad had happened.
