As they moved through the plains, the duo remained silent for some time. Kaino took the lead, with Sephiran lingering just a few steps away. While she completed her assessment, he was conducting one of his own. Noting the variety of foliage here, which would provide an array of herbs for them to utilize. The plains are also rich with the scent of prey- both land, and aviary. The winding river led to a large lake, showing promise of freshwater game and fish. Sephiran also noticed there was an abundance of serpents, both in the grasses and in the water. His knowledge of them was minimal, but he did know how to distinguish venomous verses non-venomous. Something that would be useful for them. He could instruct Aurelia to collect venom from the snakes, and store it in viable vials to coat their weapons for battle. The thought alone made him smirk.

After some time, Sephiran broke the silence- shifting his gaze to Kaino, before rumbling out, “Your thoughts?” So far, he was enjoying it here- but perhaps his navigator had found a reason not to stay.
