The duties of an alpha were never done. Beauregard felt on edge, sharpening his blade in preparation for the driving hunt he had promised to aid Ethne in. He had yet to tell his mates or anyone else about it though… First Tanelan had been healing, and then there was the arrival of the pups. He’d been so preoccupied… but he would never forget a promise to their allies. So when Hay’s call came for them at the borders Beauregard could only smile as he sheathed the blade and set off to greet her. One of his mates got there just before he had - Mika. Beauregard slid up beside him, their fur brushing against each other as he gave a soft chuckle. “Indeed we have. Forgive me, Haydée, but I’ve yet to let anyone know about the driving hunt just yet. Paws have been busy.” He let his gaze slide to Mika. “Some big cats formed a colony out in the grapevine cathedral.
