Ebony paws beat on the ground pup as the raced back towards the den. As much as she had enjoyed herself, she was always eager to return to her home. The hunt had been good, Canta had stayed back watching as they others participated in the hunt, it had only been at the urging of her family that she had stepped forwards. Now however she was eager to head on back, at her father?s permission she had raced back towards the den site. They would be along shortly with their haul.
At the sight of the ivory she-wolves she slowed some, knowing that one of them was her mother. She also assumed that the other was Novella, her aunt, who her mother had been spending a great deal of time with lately. Distinguishing her mother from the pair she rushed towards her, bumping into her side in greeting, and rubbing up against her. Dark green orbs turned to her aunt, a young woman who Canta still didn?t trust wholly, but with her mother right there she was more at ease.
The girl had grown some, the turning of the seasons thickening her coat some and her paws while still large weren?t quite as disproportionate. The girl would remain silent, nodding some in a greeting then turning her attention to the fish at her mother?s paws.
