Tarnish grins as his claws dig into the boys shoulders, allowing him to remain partly lifted with his upper back off the ground though his lower rests upon it. His hind claws raked at the other boys stomach. The raking is cut short though when his opponent falls into him but it doesn't stop Tarnish from retaliating. At three seasons old he is very near his adult size and of a similar enough build to contend with the other male. Tarnish twists his head to the side, managing to keep his throat out of reach though the other boy's attack catches in the side of his scruff. Tarnish releases his claws from the boy's shoulders and instead lashes out at the boys face, seeking to run his claws through his opponents eyes.
