Make It Safe

Phobia had a lot of grumpy energy. The boy was brusque, but he tried when he needed to. Today, he would need to. Chimera did his best to spend individual time with each of his children, especially when they were young. He wanted to mold them into decent wolves. Decent to their family, at least. It was the Ashen King's intent to give the boy an outlet for some of that chaotic energy today and so the duo marched to the center of the island.

A tiger... Way out here on the island, it had made itself fat and complacent. Chimera couldn't have a tiger on the island, not with young wolves around, so he had decided to eradicate it. If the beast wanted to flee and swim back to the mainland, so be it, but it wouldn't be remaining on Silver Island.

"When we find the cat, you watch me, okay? Do your best to stay behind it and away from the front end." One big paw raised and ruffled the top of Phobia's head. "The front end is the pointy end. Got it?" Chi flashed a grin to his son and set about tracking the cat. Already he could smell it's acrid, feline stench.
