So far this fall, she had done her best to avoid him, as she knew her heat would be calling to her soon. When it finally came, it burned like a holy fire in her, the need, the desire to reproduce, the need for her king. She had left the territory albeit briefly hoping to create some distance between her, and Isardis, so that he wouldn't know of her heat, and she wouldn't give in to mating him. It wasn't that she wasn't attracted to him, gods, she was. Around him, even when she wasn't in heat she could barely control herself, barely contain the excitement that bubbled in her veins, the scorching fire of his gaze when he looked upon her. The cool evening settled in around her, and she padded around the edge of a stream that cut through the territory restlessly, her heart throbbing and heat pooling in her stomach. She wouldn't make it through the night without calling to him or going to him, she needed him. She needed what he could do for her, the release he could provide. After all, it was only one night... wasn't it? Her tawny muzzle would kiss the air, a sweet summoning song flowing from her jaws, calling him to her, to claim her, and make the night count.
