Changing their course from the Armada's markets, the dog hovers admittedly close to Modesty's side as they draw to the already gathered crowd. Grateful she's not the center of attention-- why does this feel a little like walking into the lion's den? She's not the one in danger here.
Gaze flickering around the gathered crowd, Jael bristles in the same heartbeat Modesty does. Azure as here, their last encounter still fresh in her mind. Willing herself calm, Jael sticks close to the larger woman, tucked beneath her. The safest spot for the little dog, especially in the face of the behemoth. They settle beside Gilgamesh, Jael's gaze only flickering over his face for a moment. She knows better than to let it linger. Jael against Modesty, safely tucked away to watch the carnage unfold.
