There was no joy in her victory, only a bitterness that had been stewing. She cast a glance at the man who'd been her opponent, her gaze softening slightly, the closest thing he'd be getting to an apology before she quickly cast her gaze about. Looked like they'd handily won. With a snort Tomie pivoted on her toes and left. The rest of them could go looking for flowers or whatever the fuck, Tomie wanted no part of it. She was done, fully done. She was going back to a place that was never home, and she was going to find her mother and sister and she was getting them out of there, one way or another.
