When I fall apart, Promise in the dark

The bruiser could see her, his eyes on her face as she snarled. He had no fear of her. He instead stood there his face relaxed, a mask of calm upon him. He had seen her fight for her family, had been on the receiving end of her protective ways. Tonight she had taken it too far though. He waited, even with her yelling at him to get away.

"I won't walk away from you Bellamy. I promised your daughter and you both to take care of her." He had made an unspoken vow to this pack to protect them though. And if it meant he would have to remove Bellamy from this world then he would. He moved closer, his nose coming to be directly in front of Bellamy's, eyes meeting her's. "You let those demons win Bells and i will have to keep a promise and break another. You don't want to make me have to do that. It would devastate your children. It would destroy Lucette as she has to watch me die for the crime of keeping my promise to you." His voice softened with these words. He would break to have Lucy hate him and break because of him.

His eyes never left hers. He was reading her. If she was gone, he would have no issue making good on his promise, but the consequences would be dire. He would die for killing her, that much he knew. But would any of them forgive him for doing what he had to to protect them all. Bellamy would not be seen by any other healer but him and Lucette right now. He wanted nothing more than to take her into his home and get her treatment, but she had to calm down and want it herself.
