The sounds of the river were certainly somewhat calming, dragging her mind into a peaceful state of near nothingness. With the pack's borders now behind her, Emer had little to worry about and found the little walk was perfectly relaxing, a wonderful way to spend this pleasant afternoon. Of course beyond these little walks, the only other thing the autumnal coloured wolf really had to do was eat or sleep, though the things her life was lacking at the moment certainly were not lingering on her mind and disrupting her tranquil state.
There was only one thing that would break that it seemed as another wolf suddenly approached her, the greeting awaking her back to the real world once more. "Hi there!" She certainly sounded friendly enough, and the smile seemed to suggest that fact as well. A most fortunate outcome for both wolves, given that Emer herself was also a kindly character, and had now paused to look upon the other wolf, a small smile crossing her own features in return.
"Hello." Emer responded, it was friendly enough though certainly quieter in volume with a slight hint of timidness in comparison to the bold call given from the younger female only moments before hand. She had turned her direction once more now, moving to meet the stranger half way, wondering what had caused her to seek out her company. Now closer she could smell the scent of the pack whose borders she had nearly crossed, perhaps she had been followed up the river from the near incident. It didn't look like the other would tell her off though, so Emer simply remained hopeful that if that had indeed been the case she would be able to explain herself to the other.
