Lucette was sick with worry. The sounds of fighting had gotten intense, even over the rain, and the pixie feared that Bae-Syl and her children would come back injured. She had been busy pulling in extra supplies to help those that had been injured. She came in butt first, dragging in more furs and herbs upon them. She hadn’t noticed that Dorian had slipped into the den before her, only realizing her brother was there once she released the furs and let her tongue loll out of her mouth. Moving so much with a smaller body was more work than she cared to admit. She lifted her head, looking around, and the scent of blood hit her nose.

“Dorian!” She had seen the injury just before he moved the rag to his cheek. Anger caused the fur on her body to bristle as she moved to his side immediately. “Here, remove the rag. Lean down and let me clean it.” Just who had crossed their border? And had all the fights been so… savage? Worry mingled with the ragein her eyes. She hoped that her family gave whoever would hurt them hell.
