The change in atmosphere with the two companions was not something Bae couldn't see. Ears seemed to get angry as Whiskers implied they get the service of someone stronger than bae. He took in the words and details though. He wasn't against it for certain. If he was able to best Bells then perhaps Bae should seek him out and see how much the man could help with training him. It was worth a shot. One could always learn more from others. His eyes went between the two.

And then a threat was thrown. His ears pinned and he narrowed his eyes at the devil. "If i put her against this man, it means I'm dead. Do not threaten me again, I do what I do because I must Ears. If it means my family is kept safe then I do it. And my family is Ethne." He heard the badger as she went to chase the devil away. He shook his head and sighed. Bells might be better if neither returned until she was stable again.

He rose to his feet and snatched bell's scruff, aiming to pull her over his back. Lucy was going to kill him but it needed done. He would then make his way for his den he shared with Lucy. Bellamy wouldn't be left alone there or allowed to leave until she was conscious and speaking calmly again. It was also time she told her daughters of her past, he couldn't shoulder it all alone with her.
