Her fight was short and sweet, and she'd managed to come out victorious. Kaija groaned as she pulled herself upright, shaking off the slight aches that her fight with Bae-Syl had left her with. Surely she'd be feeling much, much worse tomorrow, but the adrenaline coursing through her veins meant that right now she could still push through in case there was another fight lurking around the corner.

She wasn't at all surprised that someone tried to catch her off guard. Already standing relatively stiffly as she tried to ground herself, Nova's attack wasn't quite enough to disrupt her balance, though it did cause her to stumble slightly. The yearling had found a solid grip on her right away and Kaija winced as she jerked away from the attack, met with the feeling of flesh tearing and blood beginning to pool around the stranger's jaws as she thrashed her head back and forth.

Instead of trying to tear away and possibly seriously injure her leg in the process, she tried scooting backwards, moving back right into Nova's jaws and trying back into her mouth. While Kaija did that, she aimed to spin around to her right side, hoping she could angle herself to grab hold of the younger female's right back leg - maybe locking the two of them into a bit of an embrace in the process.
