The flick of Modesty's tail was a tempting one. He hadn't been at the raid, and everyone was patched up, for now. So when the newly minted leader set out across the bay, he followed despite the way his bones ached. Was he getting taller, or was everyone else getting shorter?

The swim loosened up his joints, and he considered that perhaps it was worth a daily swim just to keep himself comfortable until what ever this was sorted itself out. He wasn't the only one to come, and when their new Queen began her charge, he sauntered along more lazily behind her. Well, it looked like whatever happened would be worth the journey after all.
