The night had been peaceful, mostly. If it wasn't for the rain, not that he minded too much. You could probably shove Nugget into a pit of vipers and he still wouldn't mind. That was kind of just the aesthetic of being him he guessed.
He sat up from his sleep amongst the flowers with a wide yawn. His back legs kicked to the side as he did so. He normally slept in a sploot, for comfort, so getting up could be a trick if you didn't know how to do so. And rolling over from his back? Horrible. He could do it it just wasn't easy. He shook his pelt from the wet that had seemed to cling everywhere in these lands. Luckily his pelt was mostly waterproof. His bandana unfortunately was not. He used his mouth to quickly fix his bandana back to the side slightly before standing. His legs went forward in a stretch before he set about for the day.
He had no idea where his day might take him but he should see about breakfast eventually. Maybe he would be lucky enough to find a nest of wild duck eggs or wild chicken eggs. That would be something. He smiled at the thought as he hobbled through the path he had haphazardly carved into the plants. He made for the stone path he had found the night before. Though as soon as he found the path he was stopped. His ears pressing back, not in aggression but in uncertainty. He could see the form of the wolf before him and he was still unsure how the wolves of these lands viewed dogs. Especially small dogs. He would have to chance it though. One couldn't learn things if they didn't speak to the locals.
With a nod to himself he moved forward carefully. His hobbled gait coming to stop in full view as he looked at the only only to drop his gaze to the ground. This was probably a bad idea.
