Spider’s gaze locks on the white male a few seconds before he closes the gap between them, a squeak of surprise ripped from their throat as he attempts to sweep them off their feet with his horns. reflexes kick in last minute, instincts more than anything allowing them to stumble out of range - but his horns still clip their shoulder, unbalancing them. they waver unsteadily, and, in a rather clumsy move, attempt to throw themselves into the man’s side, utilising momentum and their own body weight to knock him to the ground. of course, their weight is rather insubstantial and their aim off-centre, so it’s not unlikely that they miss. still, it’s their hope that if they can throw him of course it might give them a chance to regain their bearing, but it’s a risky strategy; the man might simply dodge them and formulate a more strategic counterattack.
