The russet woman absorbs her blow, laughing at the earthen woman’s words which makes Athena grin even wider. Words are given in return along with teeth and the shorter wolf is forced to toss her head back and to the side to avoid those crystal fangs. Instead, they sink into her shoulder causing the older woman to wince as she playfully teases, “Whoa there! Not the face! I need to look pretty for later.” Eyes sparkle with happiness as a flash of movement happens in the earthen wolf’s scruff and suddenly a small, irritated owl bursts onto the scene. Archimedes hoots his anger at the stranger and seeks to hop over and perch himself on top of their head so he can poke at them. A laugh rolls from Athena’s lips as she seeks to try and grab ahold of the side of the stranger’s scruff so she can leverage the unbitten shoulder up and, hopefully, over the other woman’s frame.
