Horror At The Laugh-In

Tarnish's exploration of Auster continued, this time he headed along the east coast, looking to see if there was anything interesting out this way. He'd heard that the pirates once had a location here, out on an island somewhere. At the moment though he just wandered along the cove, crunching on various treats left exposed by the retreating tide. He didn't think much of it til he caught a bizarre smell. He looked up to see a strange canine-type creature but it was bent over, legs short and with a slightly smashed in face and muzzle. "The fuck are you supposed to be?"

The hyena looked back at him, understanding completely lost on its face before it suddenly charged toward him. Tarnish scrambled out of the way and nearly collided with another one. He leapt over a tide pool, backing himself toward the ocean as a pack of four hyenas moved toward him.
