Beat down the doors

One by one the fights broke out around her. Gossamer's keen eyes scanned the arriving Valta wolves, seeking out an opponent but instead one found her. She returned the smile as she saw her older sister approach. She had immense respect for Asla's skill in battle and even as a pup she had wanted to spar the older woman. Even now she could remember her bratty younger self demanding a fight of her older sister.

"Shall we, then?"

"I'd love nothing more." Gossamer's defenses flew into place as her sister charged for her. Her smaller, faster sibling dodged to her left. Gossamer centered her weight in her front paws, kicking with her hind legs to pivot so she was facing the opposite direction of Asla, just off to the other woman's right. The pivot had brought her shoulder and neck out of the main reach of her sister, though her siblings lower fangs sliced humble lacerations into Gossamer's upper shoulder, spilling first blood. Gossamer's head launched down and towards her sister. Her goal was to get a hold on the woman's back, just behind her shoulder blades.
