Beat down the doors

Dad had grown older but apparently, the warlord hadn’t grown weak with that age.  Kotori grunted as he’d hit earth inwardly cursing himself for losing right now.  Tira showed up in excellent timing, offering him some form of drink.  The liquid sloshed in his mouth and did wonders for the ache in his body to diminish and a new burst of energy in him.  She certainly proved her talents which earned her promotion in the pack.

Kotori stood back up, watching her run off to start her own battle.  Kotori would need to be sure to thank her later for the help.  Now he had a chance to bandage the injured pride he had from his loss.  “The battle isn’t over Father.  Hope you aren’t too tired yet.”
