Beat down the doors

Battles were breaking out around him, but Charlie waited for an opponent. He wanted to be ready to fight, to give his all for the Armada. Silveris continued to circle and survey above him, the small bird keeping an eye on things above for her wolf partner. Yorrick hummed thoughtfully beside him, the fisher ready to do what damage he could. Not that any of this was meant to be long lasting. If anything, it was going to be his first real taste of battle… and lessened steaks would be for the better. Although, if Charlie had any idea that the timing might have not been so opportune for everyone, he would have likely felt guilty for the small woman coming toward him.

Silveris caught sight of her too late and by the time she let out the warning call the wolf-dog was under him. Charlie sidestepped, hoping to reveal part of her body so he could counter attack without, well, laying on her, as fangs and claws bit into his underbelly. A small grunt of pain left him, muscles tensing as he attempted to brace for the pain. Oof! He certainly didn’t have experience fighting such a tiny thing… He tried to swoop a foreleg back under himself, hoping to hook one of the woman’s legs and try to yank her out from under him. Meanwhile Yorrick moved to encourage that as well, the fisher letting out a growl as he sought to tackle the wolf-dog’s chest and hopefully make her stumble back.
