Birds were tricky enough but if he could get a surprise attack in then maybe he could actually catch one and finally get to see what one of those beach buzzards tasted like. Tarnish continued to slink forward, getting closer and closer until he felt like he dare not wait a second longer. His attention zeroed in on the closest gull and he sprang forward, racing toward it as the gulls exploded into the air, sending sand spraying up into the air.
