Atreus shifted as movement caught his attention - a smaller female wolf was making straight for him. The youth didn't bother to dodge, instead setting his feet, slightly splayed, and took her smaller weight easily. She grasped at his neck with oddly monkey-like paws, unfortunately missing the ridge of quills down the center. Atreus dug his hindclaws into the dirt and pushed forward against her, seeking to overbalance her and bear her down to the ground beneath his greater weight and trap her under him. Twisting his head to the side towards her he gaped open his jaws and attempted to capture her upper arm in his jaws behind his oversized fangs.
