Though he wasn't exactly where he wanted to be fighting-wise at his age, he gotten a late start compared to some of these wolves. He hadn't really been raised for most of his life in a pack, let alone one like the Armada. Most of his early life had focused on survival, and now that he was perfectly settled into the Armada he had time to hone his skills. He was glad when another wolf locked onto him, seeing him charge toward him from the corner of his eye before turning more toward the other male. He gave a nod of acknowledgement before he collided with him - this was a friendly raid, after all - and settled into a slightly more defensive stance. Even if he tried to prepare himself for the attack he couldn't have anticipated the movement of his bird companion, who swooped down toward his face. His claws dug into the earth as he tried to withstand the force of the slightly taller man ramming into his shoulder. The move made him stumble, but he tried to regain his composure, ducking slightly to the right to try to avoid the talons that were slashing toward his face, trying to aim a bite to the upper section of his front left leg.
