Horror At The Laugh-In

Trixy had been on her way to help out Beauregard with some of his patrolling and then she had been hoping to con Garm into helping her more. She had doned her new equipment, hoping to show beau her hard work on making her gear. But a sound in the middle of her moving to find Beau had her stopping and changing direction. The cove bordered their home and she hadn't been there before but had seen it from their borders. She knew to be careful about the tides there.
The pixies eyes narrowed as she saw the scene unfolding on the beach. Four hyenas had a boy cornered. She didn't think twice. She gripped her dagger from her vest and charged down the beach at them. She went ramming into one of their hips and driving her horn deep into its leg muscle. The call it made was akin to a scream of surprise and a yelp of pain as it was sent tumbling. It would leave an opening for the boy to escape if he wanted but these predators were too close to her home for her to let them leave unscathed today.
She spun to face a second and drove towards it with her dagger aiming to slice into its belly. She was an unexpected whirlwind these beasts hadn't expected. Norad protected others though, so she wouldn't falter.
