Purloin

Puffing up her coat and glaring at the monochromatic man, Nimue was prepared to defend herself and her kill. Part of her hoped her unwillingness to back down would make him go away- he was much older than her, and likely experienced in battle. It would be easier for him to leave than try to battle her over a dead bird.

But what he did in response was unexpected. He smiled at her. Flashing sharklike teeth, mocking her through his white and pink eyes. Her gaze narrowed, lips pulling back tighter- returning his smile with a flash of her little teeth. He proceeded to belittle her, and ended with an ultimatum. Beat him or be forced to join his pack. This earned a growl from the girl- ears pinning against her head, eyes narrowing, body twisting to turn and face him head on. No way she was gonna go down without a fight! Before she could give a response, he was advancing towards her.

Reflexively, Nimue ducked even closer to the ground- his jaws grazing her scruff and shoulder, grabbing a chunk of fur between his teeth. Kicking off her back feet, she attempted to run between his legs- which would worsen her neck wound, she was sure - but it was a necessary price to pay, if she was going to get out of this with her freedom. Jaws splayed, she attempted to grab the ankle of his left back leg.
