The girl didn't reply but she did set her stance. That was agreement enough for the giant man. Chimera rushed the girl and she ducked as he expected. His teeth grazed her, but he didn't want to injure her too badly, so he didn't follow through with his bite. Teeth like his could kill a wolf so small with their serrated edges. Lots of serrated edges.

Chimera felt the prickle of teeth latched around his ankle and scoffed lightly. She'd screwed up by stopping. The big brute curled his body, one big, black-toed paw swiping out in an attempt to grab the girl. If successful, he would drop his weight, but somewhat carefully, aiming to trap her beneath his bulk and end this silly fight.
