Purloin

Even as she shot forward, those hazardous, sharklike teeth didn’t break her skin- which was fortunate. She’d never faced an opposite with a set of jaws like that, and didn’t know how dangerous they really were. Of course, she attributed her intact skin to a fault on the male’s part. He must have missed her because she was so small and fast!

Unyielding in her advance, her small jaws grabbed his ankle. She felt a paw swipe at her, his body shifting above her, which made her fumble a bit. But, she still wouldn’t release her hold, no matter what his intentions were. Planting her paws into the ground, and starting to shake her head. Her legs bending as she felt his weight start to come down on top of her. Even if she lost, she wanted to leave him with some good skin tears on his ankle. To remind him that she would never go down without a fight.
