Clearing away the cobwebs

Now that Basilisk had settled things between himself and Hazel, he knew he needed to talk to Spider as well. The yearling had not had a good time when Basilisk had posed the question to the both of them. In hindsight, perhaps he could see how the question might come across to two wolves who had been abandoned so easily by those that were supposed to love them. He hadn’t meant it that way, and while he wasn’t good with words… he knew he needed to put some effort into fixing this.

He was walking slowly along the Armada beach when he raised his head, and called out for Spider. He almost wondered if they would come, but surely Spider would answer his call?
