Every single time, it happens.

The other was larger than he was, but that had never fazed him before and he had done quite a bit of growing since the last time he had spoken to another lupine. Aeron watched him somewhat blankly, but curiously as his eyes followed the other's movements as he turned his head downward to face him. For a moment he thought that he had gone about introducing himself incorrectly, which wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing, or even really a surprise, but the stranger answered him. He said that it was nice to meet him - and the gray yearling's eyes narrowed just slightly, the question as to whether he was telling the truth about that lingering along with this brown brute's words.
His tone was strangely pleasant, and it instinctively calmed the younger male. Although he wasn't quite what one would call cautious, the slight tentativeness eased out of him, and he nodded to the other's statement. You really never knew when you would run into someone - it seemed that more usual places for wolves to be were quite when Aeron passed them by. "Hajime." He repeated during a pause, and the name sat nicely on his tongue. A good name - the boy liked it. It wasn't intricate like Basalisk or sweet like Silana, it felt foreign, and probably sounded strange coming out of Aeron's mouth since he was used to French tongue. "Islands. At first I thought they may be heaven, little paradises on the sea." It seemed that his strange train of thought had led to him momentarily believing in a fantasy. Had he been looking for paradise?
He didn't think so, he was simply going wherever he saw fit, wherever his feet carried him.
"But if they float, they may still be special." With that, he was content. "Doves seem special too." This island would always strike him as different than the others - perhaps once he left, he would come here again. It was rare for the boy to revisit a place, but like those bitter cold northern regions, he found himself drawn here.
