Horror At The Laugh-In

Tarnish snarled, hackles raised. He was a good deal bigger than these creatures but they had the numbers. Her smirked, well if they thought he'd just roll over they were mistaken. However, before he could dive into the fray a small burst of color collided with one of the hyenas and it yowled in pain. The momentary distraction was Tar's cue as he launched himself at the nearest hyena, his jaws latching into the side of its neck, just behind the jawline. It started shrieking and the nearby hyena raced toward Tarnish. As its head lunged for his face he lashed out with his claws, raking them across the hyena's face and sending it scattering back. The one in his jaws flailed harder but he would not let go, using his superior size to force it down on the ground.
