Danger Lizard [Ronan]

Now older and able to travel farther unescorted, Nelu looked to become more familiar with the lands of Auster. After all, the Hallows did not exist in a bubble and already he had learned there were three other packs inhabiting the lands here. It was well populated and did make travel a bit more difficult.

This day he was exploring a strange, wooded area. The heat and humidity lended to the thick fog that blanketed the area. Moss and clung to the trees, hanging off branches in thick ringlets. Nelu had no notion of being 'creeped' out, for everything he saw could simply be explained. This area of Auster was rich in moisture, leading the trees to grow tall and their canopies thick. Between that and the fog it was no wonder this forest was particularly dark.

Nelu wandered til he arrived at a large pool of water where he swiftly went to take a drink. He had just lowered his head when something dipped below the surface out of the corner of his eye. He raised his head to look then scrambled back as a large alligator burst from the water, nearly crushing his head in its jaws.
