Danger Lizard [Ronan]

Nelu saw the man out of the corner of his eye but a quick assessment lead him to determine the other was not a threat as he was gently yanked back a little further. Nelu nodded in response. "I did not realize gators of this size were so far inland." It was a note he would need to pass on to his father if the older man did not already know.

The stranger smacked the alligator but rather than retreating it hiked up on its little legs and burst out of the water at incredible speed. Nelu leapt farther away but with the gators focus on the stranger Nelu didn't want to leave the man to fight alone. Instead he dove at the gator, grabbing hold of the creatures monstrous tail. It immediately reacted but as it whipped its tail away it would loose a chunk of flesh from Nelu's powerful jaws. Now a yearling he was of considerable size.
