Is That... What IS That?

The presence of her darling, favorite uncle eased Kaino's tension immensely. He would handle one cat while she handled the other. Proving that this was the case, Rhazien intercepted the second feline as it moved towards her. It was a good thing, too. The bleeding cat had regained some of its composure and swept a big paw out at Kaino. The tips of its claws caught one foreleg and the wolf hissed as searing pain bit into her. Son of a bitch!

Now she was mad. Mad Kaino didn't think as clearly as collected Kaino. Perhaps it worked to her advantage. The cat didn't expect her to rush it straight on and so, when Kai slammed her chest into the feline, she'd totally caught it off guard. The cat made a noise of surprise and toppled backwards. Kai was on it in an instant, teeth at its throat to clam and bite and pull. The sabertooth wrapped it's thick forelegs around her as best as it could, claws digging in. Through the adrenaline, Kaino didn't even feel it. She'd definitely feel it later, however.
