how apathetic of you

Sitting beneath the willow tree, watching those swans glide back and forth, is a beautiful scene to behold. Their elegance is apparent as they hold their heads high and every so often, ruffle their feathers. Content to spend his day watching the swans, Gourami doesn't notice the equally tiny, but still quite large compared to his current stature wolf that approaches. It's as if he has blinders on. How would he not have noticed? Perhaps its the willow branches that swing back and forth that hide the ivory and navy form of his uncle. Still, Gourami sits there and doesn't even turn his head or an ear when Ichor comes to sit beside him. It was as if they had known each other for years.

After a few minutes of silence, he finally turns to look at Ichor, blinking a few times as he regards the man. "Oh, hello, I didn't notice you there," Gourami's monotone voice is crisp, clear, and pleasant sounding? Odd, but it fits him. "I like your stripes," his head cants to the side, bright green apple gaze admiring the streaks of navy that draw away from Ichor's face.
