Marrow thrashed her head violently, claws digging and ripping at the bear while her fighting companion kept the head at bay. Eventually she felt the limb quiver under her fangs. She severed tendons and ligaments as she dug in, rendering the limb weak until it collapsed and the bear collapsed. Marrow released her grip, tail waving like a banner and she looked for another target only to see the large male had the bear's face in a vicious grip. He had the bear's head twisted and its throat available so she charged for that. Her hunter's instinct kicking in as she grabbed the bear's throat, just below the jawline where the flesh was thinnest. Her fangs dug in deep and she thrashed her head to do as much damage as possible. Eventually, the bear passed and Marrow let loose her grip, stretching her jaw, the muscles having been strained in the process of the battle.
