Marrow debated about whether she could get her jaws safely to the back of the head and if her teeth could even puncture far enough in. The boy whispered about the soft spots underneath. She nodded but before she could say anything back the alligator suddenly rolled left. Marrow struggled to keep her weight on the creature's head. With it on its left it's underside was more available. Marrow threw the boy a glance then twisted her own body, trying to keep claws around its mouth as her fangs dove for the underside of its neck, just behind the corners of its jaws. Her own snapped shut and in a moment the alligator began thrashing violently.
