Jael seemed to enjoy her sarcasm and Sid giggled. Ah... she liked Jael. The floppy eared dog lady was fun. Sid was all about fun. In time, Jael decided what course of action she wished to take and Siduri gave a dramatic salute. Taking the woman's paw in her own, Sid turned the ankle so that she could see the pad. Taking a little bottle, the girl poured some clean water on the wound, ridding it of any dirt or clinging debris. She then, oh so very gently, dabbed the liquid away with a soft square of cloth. "This part might sting a bit," she warned. Uncapping a small terracotta crock, Sid scooped out a small amount of greenish goo and spread it both upon and within the wound. She had to get it all in there to make sure that it didn't get infected. "The goldenseal will keep it from getting infected," she told her patient. After that, she dipped out a golden goo and gently spread it over the cut, blowing on it as she did so to harden the sap. Only when she was sure that the sap was dry and hardened did she wrap the paw in a layer of clean bandages. "There you go!" She was quite proud of herself.
