Stingray. What a ridiculous yet befitting name of such an animal, woth its flattened body and strange whipping tail. Hattori suggested if they cut off its tail, the stinger portion would no longer be a threat. Usagi agreed, nodding his head as his superior pulled out a bamboo spear, aiming it directly onto its tail.

The spear makes contact with flesh, but not before the stingray flails wildly, surging towards Hattori. Perhaps partially due to instinct, or reflexes as well, Usagi quickly jutted out a hind paw at its exposed underbelly, punting it backwards as it flapped from the impact like a sentient pancake.
