shifting into a defensive stance, Yarra tenses as Ely rushes at her, shifting to protect the left side of her body - which, of course, leaves the rest of her open and vulnerable to attack. Yarra snarls as Ely’s jaws close around her throat, twisting in her grip and snapping her own teeth in warning. writhing in her cousin’s grip, she attempts to contort herself in such a way that will allow her to gain purchase on Ely’s ear, hoping to feel the crunch of cartilage between her teeth. at the same time her forepaws come up and aim to hook around Ely’s neck, allowing Yarra both balance and leverage should she prove successful.
